First off let me start by saying- I really don't think their bedtime is that early...they go to bed between 7 and 8pm. We have to leave our house by 7:15am to bring Brother to school, which means that we are usually up by 6:00-6:30am to get ready...that's 10 hours of sleep, IF they fall asleep right at 8pm, which they usually don't.
Secondly, I love my kids so much, but I am also with them non stop from 6am until their bed time...I feel like I deserve a little bit of alone time. I usually go to bed around 10-11pm unless I have something I have to do before bed. If I didn't have that time to myself, I would probably go crazy! That's my blogging time, TV time...just all around catch up time.
So it got me thinking...how many adults have a their own after "bedtime routines"? I find that I do better when I have a routine to my day...and now that I think about it, my night too! It helps me to relax, and knowing that I will have a guaranteed couple of hours at night to unwind and prepare for the next day helps.
Do you have a "bedtime" routine for yourself, or do you just wing it?
